Night quote analysis section 5 and 6

"All the earth and the Universe are God's!" (Wiesel 74).

To the people at the concentration camps they thought that god was made up of the whol earth and the whole universe. Also they were saying that the earth and universe belonged to god in a sense. It is saying that all the Jews that are in a concentration camp right now  belong to god and he will not let them die and he will help them escape alive.

"I was dragging with me this skeletal body which weighed so much. If only I could've got rid of it!" (Wiesel 91).

Elie had been walking for a long time to try to survive and he had felt like he was dragging something really heavy behind him but he wasn't. It was just the strain and the stress on his legs that made him feel like that. He wanted to get rid of it by just quit walking and lay down so the others could trample over his body in agony and pain.

Night Quote anaylsis section 3

"We've got to do something. We can't let ourselves be killed. We can't go like beasts to the slaughter. We've got to revolt" (Wiesel 40).

This is happening when they are at Auschwitz and they are being beaten. In order to dtay alive they have to do something like let people know about what is happening. They can't just stand there waiting to die like nothing is happening or is going to happen.

"Let the world learn of the existence of Auschwitz. Let everybody hear about it, while they can still escape...." (Wiesel 40).

The Jews would like to tell everyone that this concentrarion camp exists and it is very brutal and that it kills a lot of people everyday. They also want to tell people  that is not safe here before they decide to come here not knowing what it will be like at this concentration camp.

section 1 and 2 Night Quote analysis

"But our hearts were not in it. Our hearts had been beating more rapidly for some days" (Wiesel 20).

In the story it shows how hard they worked to hopefully not get shot or killed somehow. Also it could mean that the Jews are very scared that they will die or get split apart from their family or die while trying to support the family. There hearts were not really doing anything other than beating faster day after day trying to keep up with all the physical labor that the Jews are put through.

"If anyone is missing, you'll all be shot like dogs" (Wiesel 33).

If anyone leaves the train cart then the will be shot in packs just like dogs would be because they always travel in packs most of the time. Also there is one person in charge and if anyone leaves  that person will get shot first  and then the rest of them will get shot afterword. I think it is a bad idea to shoot everyone if one person is missing from the cart because I thought they were mostly using the Jews for labor workers. It doesn't  make sense to me.

          Standing on the bridge above the frigid waters below I saw the frozen icicles that had formed on the water surrrounded rocks at the begining of the water fall.  In Ontario Canada the air is frigid I see white and brown everywhere the brightness of the sun is gleaming off the  whiteness of the snow, it is very blinding.  The sound of the water is overtaking the sounds of the animals in the forest right next to it.  Also many of the tourists awe in the sight of the Niagara Falls.

          The Magnificent smell of the surrounding air fills my lungs with fresh air. But I am very cold standing above the frozen tundra of water.

A Good Listener

     A situation in Of Mice and Men is when Lennie is sitting in the barn petting the dead puppy.  Then Curley's wife comes in and he covers the puppy up with hay hoping she wouldn't notice.  Then Curley's wife starts telling Lennie how she does't really like Curley and that Lennie is a nice person that she can trust.  A good listener is usually nice and quiet they are also good at keeping secrets.  A person who you can confide in also usually has very good trust towards that person.  I haven't ever confided in someone who betrayed my confidence, but if I did I would probably go to one of my parents.  My friend confided confided me one time when he was going through some tough times at his house with his parents. I handled their trust very well actually I didn't tell anyone about the situation that he did not want me to tell about.
  

erik sween a perfect world

       A perfect world for me would be there was limited laws. Also drugs, alcohol, and smoking or anything related to those would not exist. Also everyone would have nice parents that let them do almost anything. No one in this world would have any disabilities or any medical problems of any kind. Also there would no obesity at all anywhere around the world. Everyone in the world would get 64gb ipad 2's  for anything they would need one for. All of the countries would unite and there would be no wars the world would be peaceful.
      
       All of the kids wouldn't need to go to school they would be born with all of there smarts. In this world kids are allowed to work at the age of thirteen. No family would be more rich than another family and nothing would be overpriced. Everyone's siblings would be nice to each other and there would be no fighting between siblings.  For transportation there would be flying cars or metro stations.  Colleges would not cost as much money and no student would have to buy their books they would all be included with the price of the college.

       As you can see my perfect world is nothing like the real world today.  No one would have to pay more or less taxes no matter how rich or how poor. Each family of more than four people would get a free car for their family. In my world texting and driving would be illegal all around the world and severly enforced. Each parent was only allowed to have one job at a time. No mother was allowed to have more than five children in their home at once.
